Historically, economists have worked within the paradigm of "fully rational economic decision making". In recent years many findings from psychology, experimental economics and, most recently, neuroeconomics have challenged this. "Behavioural economics", originally associated with a specific brand of psychology and economics, has now become the general term for this research field.
Join us to hear our panel discussion on how behavioural economics has contributed to better economic and financial decision making

He serves on the editorial boards of two of the major general interest journals in economics and all three top field journals relevant for experimental economics. He has also been working as a consultant for government bodies including the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and the Office of Communications (Ofcom).
